Coaching & Mentoring Experience

I am a Co-Active Coach and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).  I coach leaders to clarify their thinking and empower them to grow and achieve their full potential.  I use the word leader to refer to any person who is engaged in creating change or shaping their future regardless of their formal positions in organisation structures or communities.

I view coaching as a partnership – one in which both sides work to reach an agreed-upon destination.  The partnership aims to bring about sustained behavioural change and transform the quality of the leader’s working and personal life.

After ending a four-year journey with CrowdSurge/Songkick from Series A through merger and then an exit, I decided to train as a coach.  I reflected on my 16+ year career and found that I felt most fulfilled when leading and mentoring staff to achieve the unthinkable and realise their full potential.

I have completed the Co-Active Coaching Training Program with Coaches Training Institute and continue to explore other coaching styles and techniques

I have accrued more than 150 hours in coaching and have mentored individuals and team in excess of 1000 hours over the last 10 years.

I am an entrepreneurial leader with 16+ years of experience in all aspects of business leadership.  I am very experienced in the highs and lows of building and scaling start-ups as well as transformation within corporates, national and international

I have led due diligence projects for business mergers, run business transformations, set strategic plans, created operational efficiencies, turned around underperforming departments, built high performing teams and set up the reporting, analysis and controls required for strong business performance.

I have:

  • Driven strategic, operational and organisational improvements in high growth businesses that have scaled 10x in under 3 years
  • Played a significant role in building the infrastructure that scaled a Corporate’s international footprint from .05% to 15% of Global revenue during the financial crisis from 2007-2010
  • Implemented sales processes, and customer retention programmes, delivering a 2x increase sales in under a year
  • Built, managed, turned around and lead high performing teams for over 10 years across finance, operations, customer service and business development functions.
  • Undertaken the financial and operational due diligence for acquisitions, plus post-deal integration work – people/culture, systems and processes
  • Led productivity and cost efficiency programmes delivering greater than 30% in savings
  • Re-engineered and designed internal systems (including PeopleSoft, NetSuite, and Intacct implementations) and processes, business models, and operating platforms
  • 10 years of commercial business partnering across all levels and functions within a business

I’ve been fortunate to gain experience across a wide range of businesses, roles, and environments throughout my career journey.  Over the past year and a half, I’ve focused on aligning my work with a passion for continuous learning and challenging myself while helping facilitate the growth and transformation of individuals, teams, and businesses.
