Leadership Roles: CFO / Finance Director and Executive Coach & Mentor

Coaching & Mentoring Experience

I am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and trained with The Coaching Academy.  I coach senior manager and executive individuals especially from Finance and Operational functions. My aim is to provide the right sounding board to help others make powerful changes in their worlds.

I train and accompany professionals who want to:

  • Carry out efficient, effective and happy life processes.
  • Manage the change by creating opportunities.
  • Resolve a blockage of issues that prevent progress.
  • Gain Focus and deliver on continuous improvement.
  • Develop a culture of trust and personal responsibility.
  • Use of power more effectively.
  • Align commitments and actions

After working as Senior Financial leader in Johnson Matthey in different countries, I decided to train as a coach. Of all my Financial experience, what I most enjoyed was leading and mentoring staff and witnessing them achieving their aspirations.

I qualified as personal life coach and NLP practitioner from Coaching Academy. I have completed CPD on Mindfulness and Coaching, Transactional Analysis and Reinvention coaching. I am an accredited DISC Practitioner.

I have accrued more than 120 hours in coaching and have mentored in excess of 500 hours along 20 years as professional leader.

My goal is to help managers and leaders to increase their professional success, raising awareness through asking the right questions that allow them to discover the personal strengths they can use to resolve specific situations and get the desired outcomes

I believe and argue that significant progress comes from daring to challenge barriers and overcome limits.

Away from the office I really enjoy reading and international travel.  I am enthusiastic runner and enjoy dancing for fitting. I love spending time with my husband and my two teenagers boys, so we are always adapting to fit everybody’s wishes as far as we can!

We asked Marcela who she admired and why:

Nelson Mandela – I admire his resilience, the forgiveness displayed when he could have chosen other feelings, but by contrary was able to build trust where resentment was expected. He built a brotherhood loyal to his ideals and made one South Africa where all races could live jointly, respectfully and in peace
